Editorial & Disclosure

Bali Pajak (balipajak.com) is an independent editorial guide to taxation in Bali and Indonesia. We are not a government body or website, not the Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (DJP), not Bapenda Bali or any regional tax office, and not a registered tax consultant (konsultan pajak terdaftar), law firm, or accounting firm. We do not prepare or file tax returns and we do not represent taxpayers before the tax authorities.

Not a government website

Official Indonesian tax information is published by the Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (pajak.go.id, including Coretax), the Ministry of Finance, and regional revenue agencies such as Bapenda Provinsi Bali and the Bapenda of each regency and city. Always verify rates, deadlines, and procedures at official sources before acting. Situs ini bukan situs pemerintah dan tidak berafiliasi dengan DJP maupun Bapenda.

Information, not advice

Everything we publish is general editorial information for research purposes. It is not tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice; it never replaces a registered tax consultant; and it never promises a specific tax outcome, refund, exemption, or approval. Tax positions are fact-specific and regulations change frequently. Semua konten bersifat informasi umum, bukan nasihat pajak.

Editorial independence

Our analysis is based on regulations, official publications, and verifiable evidence. No consultant, agency, or service provider can pay to change a conclusion, a rate, or a figure we publish.

How we are funded

Reading this site is free. If you ask us for an introduction and later engage one of the vetted independent professionals we introduce (registered tax consultants, accountants, or company-setup specialists), that professional may pay us a referral fee at no extra cost to you. Professionals set their fees independently; referral arrangements never influence what we publish.

Risk statement

Acting on incomplete or outdated tax information can lead to underpayment, penalties (sanksi administrasi), interest, or disputes. Deadlines, rates, thresholds, and forms change — sometimes mid-year. Always confirm your specific position with a registered tax consultant or directly with the tax office before filing or paying.

Accuracy

Rates, brackets, thresholds, and procedures are date-sensitive; we date our trackers, flag estimates and single-source figures, and mark anything unverified. Tell us about an error and we will correct it.
