Where a number comes from an official notice, the page says which notice. Where it comes from what operators quote in practice, the page says that instead, because the two are not the same thing and readers plan differently depending on which one they are reading.
Where a rule has not been confirmed against an official source, we say so on the page rather than filling the gap with a confident sentence. A dated ‘last checked’ line is more useful to a reader than a claim of authority, so that is what the desk puts there.
What this desk does not claim
The desk holds no licence, issues no permit and grants no approval.
